Janet Elie Faulkner provides guidance to employers, educational institutions, hospitals and non-profit organizations. She conducts independent investigations and serves as hearing officer for employment, faculty, Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, discrimination, disability, scientific research, and athletics matters. Janet provides legal advice and interim counsel services to organizations with limited access to in-house counsel, or which seek to reduce the costs typically associated with outside law firms. Janet frequently is engaged to investigate allegations involving organizational leadership or prominent faculty. She has over twenty years of prior experience as in-house counsel for major Boston institutions. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, New York, Vermont, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
